- Minimum degree : S1 (S2/Master degree will be an advantage).
- Have a knowledge and or experience in Air craft engine maintenance, Aviation and Marine Safety Management System (SMS) and the concept of Aviation and Marine Safety, Reliability and Efficiency (MSRE and ASRE).
- Certification in ICAO, FAA, and EASA. Rotary Wing exposure is preferred.

- Process Safety in oil & gas industry, floating production unit for deepwater offshore facility.
- Technical Proficiency in one or several aspects of the following processes Incident Investigation, Behavior Based Safety. Contractor HES Management, Motor Vehicle Safety, Job Safety Analysis, Safe Work Practice, and Food hygiene or Occupational Hygiene.

Summary of Job / Qualification :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction/equipment engineering in oil and gas industries. Exposure to large projects will be an advantage.
- Experience working as rotating equipment/mechanical engineer during Detailed Design, Fabrication, Integration, and HUC of offshore oil and gas processing facilities, preferably with some experience of floating facilities.
- Knowledge of project execution practices related to offshore construction work including planning, quality, progress measurement, cost control, change management, and risk management.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Lean Sigma Process Improvement Teams which include members from all of the process stakeholders. The Black Belt helps to set improvement goals and guides the team through the DMAIC improvement roadmap and use of the quality improvement and statistical tools to find the critical input factors then facilitates the necessary changes to achieve process improvements goals. Challenge old ways of doing business and act as a change agent. Determine financial benefit of improvements.
- Teach the Chevron standard Green Belt, Champion and Introduction to Lean Sigma materials at the customer locations.
- Mentor new Green Belt facilitators in the DMAIC methodology during their first improvement projects to help ensure successful completion.
- Project Identification and Data Analysis. Facilitate Project Identification sessions to help the workgroups/teams develop a strong queue of improvement opportunities. Facilitate large group process improvement identification workshops at the customer locations using a Value Stream Map and Flow Down approaches. Perform analysis using appropriate tools and interpret the results, using critical thinking to reach sound conclusions and make reasonable and doable recommendations.
- Provide deployment direction to and assist management with IBU Lean Sigma Revitalization programs.

- A Company or professional organization certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt with demonstrated experiences in facilitating improvement teams that produced verified financial results will be a plus.

- Experienced in decision making with limited data under operational conditions. Incorporated lessons learned and performance data in decision making.
- Responsible for preparing drilling program, well designs, directional planning, cost estimates, cost control, performance monitoring, continuous improvement, RUMS and MOC process, and contractor management program among others. Project management skills valued. Planning and Budget Cycle Acumen.

- Able to analyze, supervise, and conduct specific drilling operations in accordance with well programs and accepted procedure.
